A mobile communications system satellite beam center estimation methods

The present invention provides a method for estimating the satellite beam center for mobile communications system, the method first beacon signal samples obtained by appropriate filtering process, by a simple scanning motion of the satellite antenna beam center position and scanning collected during the scanning angle of each point, angular rate and signal strength data. Finally, the first-order statistical moments accurately calculate the scanning beam to the center position. The present invention solves the mobile communications system of the satellite beam scanning center calculation method of the prior art susceptible to noise, high precision, complex process control and other issues. Satellite beam center estimation method used in the present invention, mobile communications systems under different noise beamwidth of the satellite signal can accurately estimate the beam center position, has simple scanning motion control, a small amount of calculation precision.
