FDE as a Base for Constructive Logic

In this paper I explore whether First Degree Entailment (FDE) might serve as a suitable base for a constructive logic and a constructive account of language roughly along the lines of Michael Dummett’s project. I present three interpretation of FDE’s truth values that hold some promise in this setting. The paper also includes an extensive critical discussion of work by Shramko, Dunn and Takenaka on constructive readings of FDE-like values and the possible need to further extend the space of truth values.
