“Plug and Play” in Context

SUMMARY Royal Roads University Library has developed a Web-based information literacy unit for delivery to Masters of Business Administration students who are learning at a distance. For success the unit relies on the collaboration of librarians with business school and instructional design staff. The online approach contributes to an information literacy learning spiral that evolves throughout the degree programme. Other information literacy activities include face to face contact between learners and librarians during on site residencies together with online reference and research support.
