Modeling and simulation testing of RDSS timing

As the technology of the receiver has been developing rapidly, due to the particular characteristics in RDSS and the lagging research on relatively signal simulator, the RDSS without simulation function is unable to satisfy the requirements of testing the receiver’s timing arithmetic. Therefore, it is the requirement to design a simulator with simulation model to provide debugging and research support. Firstly, in this paper, the principle of RDSS satellite timing service is elaborated. Then the requirements of the dynamic navigation signals are analyzed. Finally, four mathematical models about time mode: the transmitting time model, the satellite ephemeris parameter calculation model, the target trajectory calculation model and the signal transmission error model are established to simulate the error corrections and the signals arriving at the receiver antenna. The results show that the RDSS signal simulator can satisfy receiver’s test requirements.
