Development of entertaining robots: A study into intelligent acquisition of human language in robots

This paper proposes a new way for robots to acquire human language, improving on imperfections discovered in ELIZA, A.L.I.C.E. and Jabberwacky. A skeletal design plan is drawn up, with rudimental illustrations using simple examples. The idea of this theoretical study is to explore possibilities of building intelligent robots.
