주민 참여 마을 만들기의 선호사업에 관한 연구

The purpose of this research is to develop an evaluation model that will allow a thorough assessment of the on-going maeulmandeulgi as well as future projects. Using the example of Guang-Ju Buk-gu Munhwa-dong's persistent town construction project, evaluation was done according to the categories of environmental-friendliness, convenience, security, aesthetics, economic feasibility, interrelation, and structure. All the projects were scored for each of these categories and the preferences of different classes of people were drawn from a summation. It revealed that the residents tend to think more of the revitalization of the local district while professionals and administrators focus on improvement of the environment. The projects of Munhwa-dong were mostly focused on environmental improvement which indicates that they are lead by professionals and administrators with limited reference from the residents. In conclusion, means are needed to be found in the planning stage of town construction project to get more opinion from the residents, so to have a balanced development in variety of aspects as well as a lively local district that will be peculiar to Munhwa-dong.
