Method of packet transmission for resource allocation in broadband wireless access system

A packet transmission method for resource allocation in a broadband wireless access system is provided to quickly re-transmit a control message which assigns a transmission region for providing the VoIP service, when the control message is lost and is erroneous, thereby solving the packet loss between a terminal and a base station. While a base station provides the VoIP service to a terminal, in case a user environment changes or the communication quality is degraded, the base station decides to change a packet transmission region for the VoIP service(S303). To change the packet transmission region from the first transmission region to the second transmission region, the base station assigns the second transmission region to the terminal(S304). In case the terminal does not receive the control message, the base station is to reassign the second transmission region to the terminal by using a specific algorithm(S307).
