Lung Function Decline and Increased Cardiovascular Risk

(CVD) preventive screening from a splitter model (1 considered at a time) to a more holistic model, there has been a movement to consider the cardiovascular phenotype of the patient. This change in perspective is helpful in slowing the progression of asymptomatic early CVD. Recently, interest has developed in looking into pulmonary function testing within the scope of CVD prevention screening.
