Management and Analysis of Camera Trap Data: Alternative Approaches (Response to Harris et al. 2010)

A recent article in the ESA Bulletin introduces an approach to cataloging and analyzing the large numbers of photos typically generated by camera traps (Harris et al. 2010). The authors highlight the need for a simple, systematic way to archive and extract data from camera trap photos. The authors then present a system they have developed in an effort to meet this need.
