This paperpresents thedesign andexperimental results for a 5x5tin-oxide gas-sensorarray systemwithparticular focus on theemployed multiplexed-analog-input 0.35(pm CMOS interface circuit chip. Thisinterface circuit reads theelectrical responseofalltheelements ofthearrayintimesharing by means ofa solid-state selector, actually exploiting a row-column query technique andprovides digital output toa dedicated LabViewTM software.
