A unified query model for heterogeneous data resources

With the development of digital resources construction and service, various digital resources based on multiple platforms and structures have become an important source of information resources collection and played an important role in enriching a variety of information resource's systems. In the coexistence of multi-source heterogeneous data resources, this paper puts forward a cross multi-source heterogeneous data sources query model which can provide convenient and effective service in multi-source heterogeneous digital resources through the use of XML technology and middleware technology blending the current database interface software method in the cross-search system and the collection method of metadata.1
