Multi‐dimensional model of a spouted bed

On a mis au point un modele multidimensionel afin de decrire le comportement dynamique du fluide et des particules dans des lits jaillissants. La position de l'interface jet-espace annulaire est determinee au moyen d'une analyse variationnelle. Des equations a deux fluides permettent de representer les mouvements de gaz et de solides dans le jet tandis qu'on utilise l'equation vectorielle d'Ergun et des equations de la mecanique des sols afin de decrire, respectivement, le comportement du gaz et des solides dans l'espace annulaire. L'ensemble des equations de controle sont resolues par la methode des differences finies avec des conditions aux limites soigneusement choisies. Les predictions des modeles concernant les principales caracteristiques hydrodynamiques concordent raisonnablement bien avec les donnees mesurees selectionnees dans la litterature scientifique de facon a rendre compte d'une vaste gamme de conditions experimentales
