On ballistic parameter identification method based on ant colony algorithm

The ballistic parameters of airborne weapons are necessary to weapon simulation and the design of fire control system,which are difficult to obtain through traditional methods.A method based on ant colony algorithm is presented here for identifying the aerodynamic parameters of airborne weapons.Combined ant colony algorithm with real-number coded genetic algorithm,the algorithm takes the given ballistic data as the standard.Ant colony algorithm is used to calculate the Mach Numbers of sectionlized boundary points of the sectional function of the airborne weapons' aerodynamic parameters.Then real-number coded genetic algorithm is used for calculating the multinomial coefficient of the sectional function.The algorithm was used in identification of drag coefficient of a certain type of bomb,and the calculation result showed that this method is flexible and has a high calculating accuracy,which has been applied in design of one fire control system.
