Enriching Feedback to Student-Teachers Through Small Group Discussion.

Precis: The isolation that is common to many veteran classroom teachers begins with the student-teaching experience. Collegial relations, reflections about the teaching profession, and personal and professional de velopment should be nurtured during student-teaching. Providing a model of feedback and interchange through small group seminars and utilizing observational data that empowers student-teachers to become reflective about their teaching, may break the isolation and depen dency cycle which begins during the entry period.
