Analysis of Circuits for Measurement of Energy of Processing Units

This paper presents an analysis of circuits for measurement of power consumption of a CPU due to the execution of instructions. There are few different approaches for measuring power consumption in such applications and different circuits are presented in this presentation. A novel circuit with reduced measurement errors is proposed and a related analysis is also given.
