삽입형 유량계의 정확도에 미치는 90° 엘보의 영향

For 10.2 ㎝ and 15.2 ㎝ pipe system with 90° elbow, the measurement errors have been quantimized in the developing length (2 to 9 diameters downstream). Three metering angle orientations relative to the outside horizontal plane of the elbow were investigated: 0, 90, and 180 degrees, and three radii of curvature, R, were also evaluated: 6.4, 11.4 and 16.5 ㎝. For 10.2 ㎝ and 15.2 ㎝ piping system with pressure fittings, the largest measurement error was -25% and -40% for 2 diameters downstream and 180 degrees. The length required for measurement error to be less than 5% for the 10.2 ㎝ and 15.2 ㎝ diameter pipe ranged from 6 to 10 diameters downstream of the elbow.
