Vehicle lighting system with bright wheel assembly

It is disclosed a lighting device for a vehicle. The lighting device comprises a photo-luminescent portion that is disposed on a surface of a first component of a wheel assembly of a vehicle. The lighting device further includes a light source which is located directly on the first component. The light source is configured to emit light having a first wavelength, which is directed to the photo luminescent portion. The photoluminescent portion is configured to implement the first wavelength in at least a second wavelength to illuminate the wheel assembly.
