A New Imaging Method for Forward-looking Linear-array SAR based on Fractional Fourier Transform

Fractional Fourier transform (FrFT) is a generalized form of the well-known Fourier Transform that offers superior detection and recognition of chirp signals. In this paper, a chirp scaling algorithm (CSA) for forward-looking linear-array synthetic aperture radar (FLLA-SAR) imaging is presented using the FrFT based on an equivalent squint model. Simulated results demonstrate the validity and the efficiency of the proposed algorithm.
