- 1-An Application of a Micro-simulator of Daily Travel and Dynamic Network Flow to Evaluate the Effectiveness of Selected TDM Measures for CO 2 Emissions Reduction by

An activity-based micro-simulation model of daily travel and a dynamic network simulator are integrated to form a model system for travel demand forecasting. The model system is applied in this study to evaluate the effectiveness of selected TDM measures for CO2 emissions reduction in the City of Kyoto. The results demonstrate the practicality of the micro-simulation approach in travel demand forecasting and policy analysis. in CD-ROM of proceedings of Transportation Research Board 77th Annual Meeting, Washington, D.C, USA, 1998.
