ECMA 368 시스템에서 reservation 기반 DRP 방식의 성능 평가

ECMA 368 standard [1] is emerging standard using Ultra Wideband (UWB) physical layer for a high rate and short range wireless communication. It supports data rate up to 480 Mbps. This standard specifies the distributed medium access control (MAC) based on two different medium access protocols, Distributed Reservation Protocol (DRP) and Prioritized Contention Access (PCA). In this paper, we introduce this emerging standard and develop ECMA 368 simulator based on ns-2 [2] for the performance evaluation. The results show the system performance of ECMA 368 devices with IPTV applications.
