Simulation Research on Digital Chaotic Systems

Periodicities of two precision-limited chaotic maps for different number of precision bits are obtained from computer simulation.A set of statistical characteristics have a strong inherent law and to be interesting are found by statistical analyzing the maximum periodicities.The mean of these statistical characteristics is named "Max Periodicity Factor",which gives a percentage of the periodicity length occupying the whole state space for a digital chaotic system.The approximate max periodicity of a chaotic system can be derived from the Max Periodicity Factor for any precision.
