딤플 형상변화에 따른 NACA0012 익형에 대한 공력특성 연구

In order to have the high efficiency of aircraft wing, the performance characteristics were investigated with the change of lift-to-drag ratio on the aircraft wing through the CFD analysis. In this paper, aerodynamics characteristics were studied with the change of dimple pattern on NACA0012 airfoil by using commercial code, ANSYS CFX. The diameter ratio of dimples was changed by the artificial conditions. The simulation was conducted with the various Reynolds numbers as the unified angle of attack. This study was focused on how dimple pattern applied on wing surface affects to turbulence kinetic energy of airfoil and drag force change, and the results were graphically depicted for various geometrical conditions and arrangement.
