Linking resistance and reactance via Hilbert transforms

The real frequency method for designing a matching network for an HF antenna requires the evaluation of a Bode (1945) integral. There exist series expansion techniques yielding closed-form expressions. An extension of the Gauss-Chebyshev numerical quadrature to compute this integral is also included. A survey and comparison of these methods is presented. Some examples are introduced to show their utility.<<ETX>>
