Accuracy investigation of SFCW radar in human vital signs detection for subject's relative position

In this paper, the effects of different subject orientations, and multiple subjects in human vital sign detection using stepped frequency continuous wave (SFCW) radar are analyzed. The accuracy performance is validated with an electromagnetic scattering human ribcage model. Both of simulation and measurement results are demonstrated in this work.
