PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable the safe evacuation running of a vehicle even if abnormality occurs to a vehicle control system.SOLUTION: An operation control unit 30 and a drive control unit 40 mutual monitor operating states of counterparts. If one of the control units 30 and 40, i.e., the control unit 40 detects abnormality in the other control unit 30, the one control unit 40 controls a drive source 60 to be driven at limited speed as compared with a normal speed on the basis of an operation control signal.
