A software framework forflexible magnetic measurements atCERN

AttheEuropean Organization forNuclear Research (CERN), a Flexible Framework forMagnetic Measurements (FFMM)hasbeenproposedfor managing diferent batch magnetic tests. Suchasystem isaimed atcreating atest platform, integrating newhardware andsoftware, forsatisfying a widerangeof measurement requirements, variable andevolving during thetime. Inthis paper, first theconceptual project oftheframework andits multi-layer architecture arepresented. Then,thepreliminary implementation ofthelowest layers isdescribed.
