Environmental effects on all-dielectric bandpass filters.

The spectral characteristics of all-dielectric bandpass filters were measured while the surrounding air temperature and relative humidity were closely controlled. Center wavelength was found to be nonlinear with humidity and can be described by an empirical two-parameter model. Conversely, maximum transmission and full width at half-maximum were closely linear with both temperature and humidity. All spectral changes were found to stabilize in <25 min.
