Coagulation changes following hepatic circulatory arrest in dogs.

This paper reports a series of experiments carried out in order to study the coagulation changes that occur during isolation of the liver from the rest of the circulation and after its subsequent revascularization, a series of 11 dogs being used for the investigation. Changes of any consequence were confined to euglobulin lysis times, which after initial shortening became lengthened again after restoration of the circulation.
