Study on Flowfield of Air Cooled Flameholder for Aeroengine Afterburner

Aiming at the air cooled flameholder structure of an aeroengine afterburner,the flowfield structure was analyzed by the standard k-e tuebulence model,and the results were compared between the simulation calculation and the PIV measurement.The results show that the flowfield structure of air cooled flameholder is complicated,and the flowfield distributes with 3D structure.Flowfield structures of ring flameholder are similar as recirculation zones of V-gutter.Recirculation zones of radial flameholder with sweepback are coupled with ring flameholder.Recirculation zones of ring flameholder in spanwise form a huge integrated complex flowfield with recirculation of ring flameholder as low velocity zones,which stabilize the flame.
