Control of distributed UPS systems

This paper is concerned with the control aspects of distributed uninterruptible power supply (UPS) systems. These are systems in which the UPS units and the critical loads are located flexibly in an interconnected network in the manner of a typical power system. Decentralized control without data communication is an essential control requirement for such systems. The main aim of this paper is the identification of the major control aspects of distributed UPS systems, and the development of solutions to these control issues.<<ETX>>
