Method and apparatus for multiplexing common logic channel in a mobile radio communication system

PURPOSE: A common logical channel multiplexing method and apparatus of a wireless mobile communication system are provided to multiplex two or more same types of common logical channels to the same transport channel and transmit it. CONSTITUTION: A sending side RLC entity #1 transfers a MAC SDU#1 to a sending side MAC-c/sh layer through a CTCH#1. A sending side RLC entity #2 transfers a MAC SDU#2 to a sending side MAC-c/sh layer through a CTCH#2. The sending side MAC-c/sh multiplexes CTCH#1 and CTCH#2 and constructs a MAC PDU#1 by adding a MAC header containing a C/T field to the MAC SDU#1. The sending side MAC-c/sh transfers MAC PDU#1 and MAC PDU#2 to a receiving side MAC-c/sh by using a service of a physical layer through a FACH channel. The receiving side MAC-c/sh checks C/T fields contained in the MAC PDU#31 and MAC PDU#2, and demultiplexes CTCH#1 and CTCH#2. If a logical channel indicated by the C/T field is CTCH#1, a corresponding MAC PDU is transferred to a receiving side RLC entity#1. If a logical channel indicated by the C/T field is CTCH#2, a corresponding MAC PDU is transferred to a receiving side RLC entity#2.
