Regenerative Verfahren in der Zahnmedizin – was ist heute möglich ? Regenerative procedures in dentistry – what is possible today ?

Einleitung: Regenerative Verfahren in der Zahnmedizin basieren auf unterschiedlichen Komponenten wie Schmelz-Matrix-Proteinen, Platelet Rich Plasma, Platelet Rich Fibrin, Wachstumsfaktoren sowie Stammzellund Gentherapie. Diese Ansätze kommen entweder einzeln oder als Kombination zum Einsatz. Material und Methoden: Unter Berücksichtigung der inhomogenen klinischen Studienlage weisen alle Ansätze unterschiedliche Effektivitätsund Sicherheitsprofile auf, welche ihren momentanen und zukünftigen klinischen Nutzen bestimmen. Dabei konnten einzelne Produktklassen überzeugen, wohingegen andere ihren Nutzen bisher nicht eindeutig belegen konnten. Ergebnisse und Schlussfolgerung: In diesem Artikel werden alle Teilgebiete regenerativer Verfahren vorgestellt sowie etwaige Nutzen und Sicherheitsprofile mit grundlagenwissenschaftlichenals auch klinischen Studien unterlegt.
