Deadbeat control for Multi-level Inverter using 1MHz Multisampling Method for Utility Interactive System

Recently, multi-level inverters were widely applied to grid connect system to downsize the filter component and reduce the harmonic distortions of the output voltage and the current. In these systems, the conventional PI control is widely used for the inverter control, and the dynamic performance should be considered in the case of FRT conditions. In this paper, a new deadbeat control method for multi-level inverters is proposed based on PWM hold technique. Three level inverters are investigated to achieve the fast transient response in the FRT conditions. 1MHz multisampling method was also applied to improve the dynamic response. The advantages of the proposed method was verified through simulations.
