Performance Test and Improvement of SCPS-TP on Real Satellite Link

The paper shows the transport rate on a real satellite link when Space Communication Protocol Standard-Transport Protocol (SCPS-TP),TCP Hybla protocol and PEPsal technology is used separately,with some analysis and contrast followed,and the results indicate the SCPS-TP performed the best on satellite link with high packet loss rate and long transmission delay. The paper also put forward an improvement idea of transport protocol acceleration of space internet based on SCPS-TP,to increase its average throughput,via adding a new and more pertinent improved congestion control strategy which can overcome its intrinsic conservative congestion window increase mode.
