Finite element analysis of temperature field on capillary rheometer

Aiming to the features of capillary rheometer's barrel, mathematical model of the barrel is established by heat transfer theory and finite element principle. Based on the mathematical model, finite element model was built by ANSYS, and then temperature field in the barrel is calculated and analyzed. The analysis results indicate that the temperature field has more even by adopting three areas heat, and this improves the measurement accuracy of rheological properties of material.
