The invention discloses a microgrid system with a hybrid electric automobile as a stand-by power source. The microgrid system comprises power generation equipment, an energy storage system, a load, a hybrid electric automobile, a grid connecting bidirectional converter, a distribution line and a coordination controller, wherein the grid connecting bidirectional converter is connected with the hybrid electric automobile and used for grid connection of the hybrid electric automobile, the distribution line distributes electric energy in the system, and the coordination controller is used for controlling start, stop and power generation power of the power generation equipment, start, stop, charging power and discharging power of the energy storage system, and discharging and charging of the hybrid electric automobile. The coordination controller is connected with the power generation equipment, the energy storage system, the load, the hybrid electric automobile, the grid connecting bidirectional converter and the distribution line through a communication network, and the power generation equipment, the energy storage system, the load and the grid connecting bidirectional converter are connected with a public power grid through the distribution line. The microgrid system is high in power supply reliability, when stored energy SOC in the system is low, the hybrid electric automobile is used for supplementing energy through power generation, when the SOC is high, the hybrid electric automobile is used for storing the energy, so that balancing of supply and demand between power utilization and power generation is achieved, and the microgrid system is low in cost.
