Experimental Study on Structure Improvement of Hot-wall Kang

With the rapid development of society and rural economy,solving the rural heating problem and improving the indoor thermal comfortability have become the most important events in rural areas.Seeking a suitable heating mode which can be sustained by current economic conditions of peasants is very essential,especially for the cold and severe cold regions in the north of China.As the most important and common heating facilities in rural areas,the extensive research of Chinese Kang had been carried out.In this paper,through the analysis of a new type Kang namely hot-wall Kang,several problems which need to be improved had been discussed.For example,the exhaust flue gas temperature was too high,the flue gas flow was not uniform and the temperature of hot-wall's middle and backend was too low.Based on the analysis,the corresponding improvement strategies were presented and the experiments were carried out to validate the improvement effects.The results indicated that the exhaust flue gas temperature of hot-wall was decreased of 20 ~ 35 ℃,the flue gas flow inside of Kang was more uniform and the mean temperatures of hot-wall's middle and backend were increased about 10 ~ 20 ℃.With the improvement strategies,the hot-wall Kang's heating performance was enhanced.
