Simulation of Adaptive Stratifying Method for 3D NC Die Rough Machining

Stratifying method for die NC rough machining was analyzed.By using the maximum step gap between layers as the adaptive parameter,a new adaptive rough machining method was proposed.The restraint conditions were explained in detail.Specific procedure and arithmetic flow of the new adaptive stratifying method were discussed.Using developed simulation software,the simulation of a particular instance for the method was given.Based on the algorithm,the volume of the residual material could be further reduced and the efficiency in stratifying NC rough machining could be improved.
