Experimental dSPACE verification of fuzzy compensator of windup problem in sensorless direct torque control of induction motor

It is well known that the windup problem is one of the most serious problems which degrades the closed loop performances, especially in sensorless induction motor drive. In this regards, and in order to improve the performance, this paper proposes a fuzzy compensator to prevent the windup problem in sensorless Direct Torque Control of induction motor, which is a common application in industrial process. The approach treated in this work has been performed experimentally in Real Time using a DSP-based development board from Texas Instrument, and investigation gave results that justify the claims.
