H/sub /spl infin// output feedback control with /spl alpha/-stability constraint for uncertain linear time-delay systems - an LMI approach

The /spl alpha/-stabilization problem for a class of uncertain linear time-delay systems is studied. The synthesis problem addressed here is to design an output feedback control law such that the resulting closed-loop system is /spl alpha/-stable and possesses H/sub /spl infin// performance for all admissible uncertainties, and a sufficient condition for the existence of such a control law is presented in terms of several linear matrix inequalities (LMIs). Finally, an illustrative example is advanced to demonstrate the superiority of this method.
