Novel software for real-time processing of phonocardiographic signal

Novel software which processes real-time digital phonocardiographic signal in personal computer has been developed. The software is capable to display, process, and record heart sound signals with all standard multimedia sound formats (11025 Hz/22050 Hz/44100 Hz, 8/16 bits, mono/stereo). Both time varying amplitude graph and short-time Fourier transformation (STFT) based time-frequency distribution can be displayed simultaneously on the computer screen. User definable digital filters can be used to enhance the results.
