An Integrated System Based On A PC For Testing Ocular Motility

This paper describes a laboratory realized for testing ocular motility, visuo-vestibular interactions and eyehead coordination. The system is controlled by a Personal Computer (PC) and its main features are pointed out with respect to the hardware and to the specific solutions adopted. Although commercial hardware (PC computer and A/D boards) has been used for developing the system, it presents high level characteristics in terms of low-cost, flexibility and capability of interfacing with other instrumentation.
