STUDY ON COMBUSTION DYNAMICS OF CHAR IN CEMENT CALCINER

In this paper, the ash enclosed and core shrinkage model is proposed The char combustion dynamic is studied using TGA(thermogravimetric analysis) and theoretical analysis to investigate the dynamic parameters of 11 typical chars The mechanism of combustion process is discussed The results show that the diffusion coefficient D h  as well the reaction rate constant k c  within ash layer are not absolutely constant The limiting step in the low temperature combustion process in calciner is changing from chemical reaction control to diffusion control in ash layer
