DRIVER MODELS IN VEHICLE DEVELOPMENT

The prediction of driver behaviour by means of models is a research topic almost as long as models of vehicles were presented as tools for vehicle development. The principal motivation was always the benefit of computer simulation as an instrument for a prospective assessment of vehicle developments.
