Binaural room acoustics simulation: Practical uses and applications

Abstract Binaural room acoustics simulation experience at the CSTB acoustics laboratory is presented. The method used for the prediction of the binaural impulse response involves three steps: geometrical, pseudostatistical and purely statistical. Needs for binaural technology and results already available are discussed.
