In a single freedom active magnetic system,in order to keep the rotor floating steadily,the system must obtain the accurate information of the rotor's station with the use of an eddy current sensor.This requires the disposal of volt signal obtained from the sensor.Because of the non-linearity of signals in a large of size,the range of measure is limited.In order to realize the steady floating of the rotor extensively,further disposal will be made of the sensor signals.Firstly,this paper introduces the work theories of both active magnetic system and eddy current sensor.According to the performance curve obtained from the study and experiment with the active magnetic system, the paper adopts the method of software compensation to enhance the measure range of this sensor.The practice indicates that the range of rotor' s floating has been enlarged in this way.
