Blind source separation for multiuser detection in MIMO MC-CDMA systems

We introduce a new FD-BSS technique for multiuser detection in MC-CDMA systems when multiple antennas are used in transmission and reception. In these systems, several users transmit simultaneously from each antenna using the whole bandwidth available. The convolutive effect introduced by dispersive channels is transformed into instantaneous mixtures of the user signals, since we are considering a multicarrier technique. Using this result, we propose a new blind source separation method to recover the transmitted information. This technique does not require knowledge of the channel impulse or training sequences.
