Temperature Controller for Simultaneously Test of Solar Collectors in Series

The characterization of solar collectors is important to guarantee a suitable application for these solar systems. To evaluate the collector it is important to discover its energy behavior for this reason a standard test is used to guarantee the accuracy of the results. A commonly used standard in Brazil is the ABNT NBR 15747-2. The norm establishes some requirements that must be fulfilled, one of them is about the inlet temperature fluctuation that must not pass 0.1°C. The objective of this paper is to describe the project, the assembly and the test's results for a temperature control system designed to maintain and control the water's temperature at the inlet of solar collectors.
