New surface active derivatives of the TFE oligomer oxybenzene sulphonamide structure having the formula C2nF4n-1OC6H4SO2N-(CH2)mX ¦ R wherein N IS 4, 5 OR 6 R = C1-C5 alkyl (preferably C1-C3) or hydrogen M = 1 TO 6, PREFERABLY 1 TO 3 X = SO3M, COOM, OPO3M2 and M is hydrogen, alkali metal, ammonium or alkyl ammonium.
