Décomposition en ondelettes de maillages triangulaires 3D irrégulièrement subdivisés. Application à la compression

We propose a new subdivision process allowing the simplification of irregularly subdivided triangular meshes by the wavelet transform. This algorithm is applied here to lossless compression of meshes. Some experimental results prove the efficiency of this approach in multiresolution schemes.
